Museum Hours

Crystal Bridges is open Mondays and Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The museum is closed on Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Crystal Bridges Trails and Grounds are open from sunrise to sunset daily and during museum hours.

Parking

Close-in Parking
Complimentary, ADA-accessible parking is available in the lower level of the museum parking garage. Follow the signs on Museum Way.

Drop-Offs
The museum’s main drive connects to a drop-off area at the museum’s ADA-accessible front entrance located by Roxy Paine’s tree-like sculpture Yield. Cars and buses may stop here to load and unload passengers. No parking is allowed in this area.

Additional Parking
During especially busy days, guests may need to park in the gravel lot on Museum Way, or at Orchards Park across NE J Street, and walk to the museum entrance via the Orchard Trail. There is no RV parking available on the Crystal Bridges grounds. RVs may park at Orchard Park.

Shuttle Service

For guests parking in the gravel lot on Museum Way, shuttle service is available continuously during museum operating hours. Passengers are picked up at the shuttle stop in the gravel lot, the Coca-Cola Hydration Station in the additional parking lot (across from the Amazeum; currently closed due to construction), and the museum’s main entrance.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has a world-class collection of American art and stunning architecture, nestled in 120 acres of Ozark woods with over five miles of trails. The museum’s restaurant, Eleven, offers lunch service daily, and the Coffee Bar offers a selection of “grab-and-go” meals. The Museum Store offers a wide selection of unique gifts, works by regional artists, and art prints from the Crystal Bridges collection. The Library, located on the third floor, offers a large collection of art reference materials, children’s books, and more.

Needless to say, we have something for everyone! Admission to the museum and trails is always free. Some exhibitions require an entry fee.

At the Museum

Learn more about Crystal Bridges’ house rules and policies – including our photography and videography guidelines, refund, exchange, and online ticketing FAQs, and more.

Guest Services: Located in the museum’s Garrison Lobby, Guest Services is your resource for many museum amenities and services including Lost and Found, maps, brochures, self-guided and audio tours, and information about guided tours and educational programs. Guests may also purchase or pick up tickets here.

Restrooms: All-gender, wheelchair-accessible, and family restrooms are located throughout the museum.

Checkroom: Large items, including backpacks, backpack-style child carriers, tripods, umbrellas, or any package or other item larger than 11 x 15″ are not allowed in the galleries. Self-service checkrooms are located in the lower lobby (one level down from the Garrison Lobby). Lockers are provided for your valuables at no charge in the checkroom.

Child Carriers: Front carriers are allowed in the galleries, as are sling-style child carriers. Backpack-style carriers are not permitted. Those can be stored in the checkroom during your visit.

Nursing Mothers: On the first floor near the Great Hall there is a private room that can be used, when it is available, by nursing mothers who prefer a private setting. Please ask a museum security officer or Guest Services for access.

Wheelchairs: Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs (motorized or non-motorized). A limited number of wheelchairs are available from Guest Services on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost.

Food & Drink (Inside): Food, drinks, and chewing gum are not allowed in museum galleries, and outside food and drink are not permitted inside. Lunch is served daily at the museum’s restaurant, Eleven, and the Coffee Bar offers “grab-and-go” options.

Food & Drink (Outside): Picnicking is encouraged on museum trails and grounds, including in the Tulip Tree Shelter. Tables are provided outside on Walker Landing, but we ask that guests not bring coolers, chairs, or other gear onto Walker Landing.

Technology: Free Wi-Fi is available to Crystal Bridges guests at the museum. Please limit mobile phone conversations to non-gallery spaces, lobbies, restaurant, or museum grounds. If you are using your phone to participate in museum audio tours, headphones or earbuds are encouraged in galleries.

Pets: Leashed pets are welcome on the museum trails and grounds, but are not permitted inside the building, or on Walker Landing.

Accessibility Amenities at Crystal Bridges

Northwest Arkansas is easily accessible by plane and by car. The Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is served by several international airlines. Other metropolitan areas such as Tulsa, Little Rock, Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, and Dallas are within a half-day’s drive.
