Mar 29, 2021 At the Museum Looking for a unique way to meditate or simply take some time for yourself? Mindful Mondays might just be the place for you. On the first, second, and third Mondays of the month, we offer events that focus on mindfulness, surrounded by the beauty of art and nature: Yoga and Art, Meditation and Mindfulness, and Sunset Tai Chi. As a safety precaution and to comply with CDC recommendations, Crystal Bridges and the Momentary require face coverings at outdoor programs and events, as well as at food and drink venues, except when eating and drinking. Face coverings with exhaust valves or vents are not allowed. Masks will be provided for those who don’t have one. Yoga and Art Every first Monday of the month Exercise your body and mind at Crystal Bridges by participating in a yoga session surrounded by nature and art! The next Yoga and Art event is taking place Monday, April 5 at 6 p.m. Join instructors from Yoga Story on the Frank Lloyd Wright House Lawn in an uplifting group class that explores different facets of vinyasa as well as various disciplines of yoga practice. Meditation and Mindfulness Every second Monday of the month In the midst of unpredictable times, mediation and mindfulness can be helpful tools for approaching mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Take a break from your busy-ness to visit Crystal Bridges for a guided meditation and mindfulness practice with optional vocal meditation and movement, surrounded by the beauty of art and nature. The next Meditation and Mindfulness event is taking place Monday, April 12 at 6 p.m. Instructor Anna Peterson will lead the April session outside on the Frank Lloyd Wright House Lawn. Sunset Tai Chi Every third Monday of the month Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman-Wilson House Join us as we wind down on the Frank Lloyd Wright Lawn for tai chi and qigong as the sun sets, surrounded by the beauty of art and nature! Led by Erik Hardin, L.Ac and certified instructor, each rejuvenating session will begin one hour before the sun sets. All experience levels welcome.
