Sep 11, 2020 Art & Collection At the Museum “I’m Alice Walton, and I am delighted to take you on this tour today.” So begins the museum’s newest audio tour, Alice Walton Talks Art. In this self-guided tour, take a walk through the galleries with Crystal Bridges founder and board chairperson Alice Walton as she shares personal stories and insights behind some of her favorite artworks in the collection. With this audio tour, you’ll learn more about the artists and artworks in the Crystal Bridges collection directly from Alice herself! There are 33 stops (including an introduction and conclusion) throughout the permanent galleries along the tour, and the entire audio tour is one hour long. Transcripts of the audio tour are available on the app as well for those who would prefer to read. The app also features a handy map for users to locate each artwork within the galleries. When you are onsite, the map also indicates where you are, making it easier to navigate yourself to an artwork on the tour you are interested in. Audio tours can be listened to at any time, anywhere (not just at the museum). The CB Museum app is available to download on most smartphones or tablets. You can find the app by searching for “CB Museum” in the app store on your phone. Make sure to bring your own headphones to the museum – we ask that visitors listen to audio tours with headphones in the galleries. CB Museum can be downloaded on the App Store or Google Play. Listen to the tour here via SoundCloud. Download our mobile app to listen! The CB Museum app is sponsored by Cox Communications.
